Iveco Daily Tyre Pressures — Recommended Values
The correct tyre pressure is essential for the safety, fuel consumption and tyre life of your Iveco Daily. The values vary depending on the model, the tyre type and the load carried.
Tyre Pressure Table by Model
| Model | Pneumatic | Front (bar) | Rear Single (bar) | Rear Twin Wheels (bar) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 35S / 35C | 195/75 R16C | 3.75 | 4.25 | — |
| 35S / 35C | 205/75 R16C | 3.50 | 4.00 | — |
| 35S / 35C | 225/65 R16C | 3.50 | 3.75 | — |
| 50C | 195/75 R16C | 4.25 | — | 4.50 |
| 50C | 205/75 R16C | 4.00 | — | 4.25 |
| 65C / 70C | 205/75 R16C | 4.50 | — | 5.00 |
| 65C / 70C | 225/65 R16C | 4.25 | — | 4.75 |
Note: the values are indicative for maximum load. Always check the plate on the left-hand (driver's side on LHD) door pillar of your specific vehicle, which shows the exact values for your build.
How to Check the Pressure
- Always check when cold (after at least 2 hours parked or less than 3 km driven)
- Use a calibrated pressure gauge: the ones at petrol stations are often inaccurate
- Check all the wheels, including the spare
- Recommended frequency: every 2 weeks or before long journeys
Consequences of Incorrect Pressure
Pressure Too Low
- Abnormal wear on the tread edges
- Increase in fuel consumption of up to 15%
- Tyre overheating — risk of a blowout
- Excessive sidewall flex — instability when cornering
Pressure Too High
- Wear in the centre of the tread
- Reduced ride comfort (vibrations)
- Reduced grip in the wet
- Greater vulnerability to potholes and speed bumps
TPMS Sensor for Iveco Daily (from 2019)
The Iveco Daily VII (from 2019) is fitted with the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), mandatory under European regulations. A pressure sensor inside each wheel monitors the pressure in real time and alerts the driver with a warning light on the dashboard if the pressure drops below the threshold.
If a sensor is damaged (flat battery after 5-7 years, or broken during a tyre change), it must be replaced:

Frequently Asked Questions
What tyre pressure for the Daily 35 when fully loaded?
For a fully loaded Daily 35S/35C with 195/75 R16C tyres: front 3.75 bar, rear 4.25 bar. With 205/75 R16C tyres: front 3.50 bar, rear 4.00 bar. Always check the plate on the door.
How often should you check the tyre pressures?
At least every 2 weeks and before every long journey or heavy load. A tyre naturally loses 0.1-0.2 bar a month. Always check the pressures when the tyres are cold.
Does the Daily have a tyre pressure sensor?
Yes, from 2019 (Daily VII) the TPMS system is fitted as standard. Earlier models don't have the sensor — you'll need to check the pressures manually with a pressure gauge. An aftermarket TPMS kit can also be fitted to older Dailys.
