Iveco Daily Fuses — Where to Find Them
I fuses on the Iveco Daily protect the electrical system from short circuits and overloads. When an electrical component stops working (lights, wipers, radio, cigarette lighter socket), the first thing to check is always the corresponding fuse.
Fuse Box Location
- Daily II-III (1990-2006): under the dashboard, left-hand side (driver's side on LHD), behind a push-fit cover panel
- Daily IV-V (2006-2014): two locations — one under the dashboard on the left-hand side (driver's side on LHD) + one in the engine bay (black box above the battery)
- Daily VI-VII (2014-present): under the dashboard on the left-hand side (driver's side on LHD) + engine bay + possibly a third box under the driver's seat (on versions with lots of optional extras)
Iveco Daily Fuse Box Diagram
Each fuse is identified by a position number and an amperage rating (shown by its colour). The exact layout varies by year and specification — you'll find it:
- On the fuse box cover itself (printed on the inside)
- In the owner's handbook
- On the sticker in the fuse box compartment
Standard Fuse Colour Chart
| Colour | Amperage | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Violet | 3A | Sensors, low-current signals |
| Brown | 5A | Instrument lights, control units |
| Red | 10A | Side lights, interior light |
| Blue | 15A | Wipers, screen washers |
| Yellow | 20A | Cigarette lighter socket, radio |
| White/Clear | 25A | Electric windows |
| Green | 30A | Heater blower, central locking |

How to Replace a Fuse
- Switch off the ignition and all accessories
- Locate the fuse using the diagram on the cover
- Remove the fuse with the puller supplied (inside the fuse box itself)
- Check it: if the internal filament is broken (blown), the fuse needs replacing
- Fit a new fuse of the same amperage — NEVER a higher-rated one
- If the new fuse blows straight away → there's a short circuit, and it needs diagnosing and repairing

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the fuse box on the Iveco Daily?
Under the dashboard on the left-hand side (driver's side on LHD). On Daily models from 2006 onwards there is a second fuse box in the engine bay. Check the owner's handbook for the exact layout for your model.
Can I fit a fuse with a different amperage?
NEVER fit a fuse with a higher amperage: you risk damaging the wiring harness or causing a fire. If the fuse keeps blowing, the problem is in the circuit — you need an auto electrician.
How much does an Iveco Daily fuse box cost?
The fuse box costs 50-150€ aftermarket and 150-300€ genuine. Individual fuses cost just a few pence. We recommend always keeping an assorted fuse kit on board.
